Since the Samsung Medical Center opened in 1994, it has led the changes in Korea's medical world covering all fields including diagnosis and treatment, studies, education and medical services, earning recognition from people as Korea's representative hospital, one worthy of its reputation.
Samsung Medical Center(SMC) is equipped with nearly 2,000 beds and 1,400 doctors. SMC was officially appointed as a medical evacuation hospital for the White House in 1996. SMC features the Samsung Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Proton Therapy Center and the Heart Vascular, and Stroke Institute, which are at the forefront of cancer, heart disease, diseases of the blood vessels, and stroke.
Their International Health services(IHS) offers inpatient and outpatient treatment, consultations, and referrals across a comprehensive range of specialities. By coordinating interpretation services including English, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Mongolian, Japanese and other necessary services to stay in Korea such as transportation as well as accommodation, our center aims to minimize a patient’s discomfort during a treatment period in Korea.
