Asan Medical Center
Since its establishment in June, 1989, Asan Medical Center has achieved a world-class medical reputation as it has continued to aggressively invest in R&D and clinical treatment. AMC ranked No.1 in Korea for the number of surgeries related to cancer and organ transplantation.The number of international patients visiting the Asan Medical Center(AMC) increased significantly from 5,300 to 15,000 during the period 2005~2016. Most patients required high-risk surgeries such as living-donor liver transplants, blood-incompetable pancreas transplants, simultaneous pancreas-kidney transplants, and cancer surgeries. AMC provides an optimal treatment system with cutting-edge medical equipment based on advanced medical practices. AMC serves an average population of 11,610 outpatients and 2,586 inpatients daily, performing 58,256 high-level operations per year. It is Korea’s the largest and most advanced hospital with 27 Specialized Centers, 44 departments and 2,704 beds.

One of the best hospitals in Korea, their service is very convenient and staff are professional and nice. The international health care center located in the 4th floor of the new building provide the best and fastest medical service I've ever had in Korea.

Dr Oh TaeSeok is the best there is.
Jun. 21 2018 Christal YuenCannot share details due to possible lawsuit. Only can recommend the cleft/plastic surgeon. Dr Oh TaeSeok is the best there is. Other than him, we now go elsewhere for medical treatments.
