Dr Jeong was graduated from Yonsei University, one of the best universities in Korea with PhD in medicine and built up working experiences in several teams across the world. The primary focus of his research was examining the occurrence and the progression of breast cancer. He conducted research projects on this topic at MD Anderson Cancer Center in the USA. Furthermore, he studied transitive tumor cells in the bloodstream at Dana Parber Research Institute of Harvard University in 2010. Since then he has given all his effort to treat metastatic breast cancer which is notorious to be fatal. In addition, his articles were accepted to well-known journals and gained reputations widely. He also has a strong interest in developing drugs against spreading tumor cells from the originated site to other organs. Therefore, he has been passionately involving in global pharmaceutical companies to develop new drugs, especially for breast cancer.
Dr Jeong performed more than 500 surgeries in 2017 and is known as the best surgeon for breast cancer and the best doctor to treat final stage of breast cancer in Korea. He has been giving new lives to many patients. Besides, he is always offering clear, authoritative information and advice to patients.
